Theisen Consulting leads strategic, tactical, and business planning; organizational design, restructuring and assessment; advisement on board structure, composition, and effectiveness; facilitation of mergers and strategic alliances; and support for executive and leadership transitions.
Prior to her consulting career, Terri Theisen served as CEO of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s southeast region, vice-president of the American Cancer Society, regional vice president of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and as an internal management consultant. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and professional convenings, including the Council on Foundations, the BoardSource Leadership Forum, Grantmakers in the Arts, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Council of Volunteer Administrators. She has been interviewed by numerous nonprofit industry publications and is the author of two books: Nonprofit Business Plan Development: From Vision, Mission, and Values to Implementation, and Succession Planning for Nonprofit Leadership: Steps to Ensuring Your Organization’s Future. Terri serves on the board of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and on the Global Women’s Leadership and received the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Leading a Life of Purpose Award in 2018.
