F. Sheffield Hale (above left) is President and CEO of the Atlanta History Center. Prior to joining the Atlanta History Center in 2012 he served as Chief Counsel of the American Cancer Society, Inc. and was a Partner practicing corporate law in the firm of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.  Mr. Hale serves as a Trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Fox Theatre, Inc., Buckhead Coalition, Midtown Alliance, and Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is a Past Chair of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Atlanta History Center, St. Jude’s Recovery Center, Inc., and the State of Georgia’s Judicial Nominating Commission.


Raymond King (center) has served as the Zoo Atlanta's President and CEO since 2010. During his tenure, he has led Zoo Atlanta in raising $64 million in philanthropic support – more than was raised cumulatively by the organization over the previous 25 years. This includes more than $42 million raised for the Zoo’s “Grand New View: Elephants, Events and Expansion” campaign, which was successfully completed in June 2016, ahead of schedule and ahead of expectations, against an original fundraising goal of $38.1 million. The campaign launched with a $20 million matching grant from the Robert W. Woodruff Foundation in late 2014.


David Moore’s (right) role as executive director of the Historic Oakland Foundation is to garner support for Foundation’s mission from donors, foundations, community leaders, public officials and policy makers and to focus on consistent branding and messaging to strengthen the awareness and image of Oakland Cemetery and its critical role in our community in preserving our city’s rich history and culture.  David has made presentations to more than 100 civic and community groups and other organizations, including presentations at professional conferences throughout the southeast on fundraising and best practices for interpreting, enhancing, and sharing a historic landmark.




Dianne Chipps Bailey will present a summary of the 2018 U.S. Trust® Study of High Net Worth Philanthropy: Portraits of Generosity, which is the seventh iteration of report that has been published biennially since 2006 in partnership with the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. The Study focuses on the giving and volunteering practices of wealthy households in the United States and is an authoritative source of information on wealthy Americans' philanthropic attitudes and practices.

Dianne is a Managing Director and the National Practice Executive for the National Consulting and Advisory Practice, Nonprofit Consulting Services team at U.S. Trust. In this role, Dianne and her team deliver customized consulting and advisory services to U.S. Trust institutional nonprofit clients' boards of directors, investment committees and senior professional leaders. Her team’s areas of focus include strategic visioning, mission advancement, risk management, nonprofit governance and board dynamics. Dianne is a frequent speaker and commentator on topics related to best practices for nonprofits and trends in philanthropy.
